PETEY LEAVING WITH THE HAND FAMILY

PETEY LEAVING FOR HIS NEW HOME WITH THE HAND FAMILY

Petey was the last of the litter to find his new home. His lucky day came on Saturday, 9th September when the Hand family visited to meet him. They re-homed a pup (Erin/Molly) from the MSPCA in October 2006. Molly passed way and they felt it was now the right time to get another canine friend. Petey won them over quickly with his good manners and loving personality.

His brother (Percy) & sister (Petra) had recently been re-homed and we are so delighted Petey is now in her great new home!  We so appreciated past adopters coming back to the MSPCA when they want to welcome another dog/pup in their home/life.

MOE (MOJO) IN HIS NEW HOME WITH GEORGE & THE ZELLMANN FAMILY

MOE IS VERY SETTLED AND ENJOYING THE GOOD LIFE IN HIS NEW HOME WITH YVONNE & THE ZELLMANN FAMILY. MOE'S NEW NAME IS MOJO. YVONNE ADOPTED GEORGE (PICTURED WITH MOE) FROM THE MSPCA IN DECEMBER 2009.

We were delighted to receive these photos and update on Mojo:  "Just to let you know that all went well!  George has been really good with Moe right from the start and they both have settled down well. Wee Moe is asleep on the sofa now. He is such a lovely little fellow, full of beans and already a typical wee Terrier!"

Really well socialised. We hope Petey gets rehomed soon, as he will be a great pet if he is anything like his brother. Thank you for finding Benji for us."

CAMILLE & LORNA (SPECIAL STORY)

CAMILLE IN THE ARMS OF HER NEW MUM (LORNA)

This female kitten (Camille) was brought into our shelter on the evening of 30th July. She was found lying in the middle of the road outside Monaghan Town. by 2 sisters (Cliodhna & Ashling).  They stopped to help this little girl and also to divert cars from hurting her.  They phoned the MSPCA and drove her to the shelter. She was unresponsive and we did not expect her to live through the night.  Our volunteers (Joan & Lorna) took her home to provide her TLC and intensive care in the hope she might recover. Camille made a miraculous recovery -- at 6 am the next morning she was able to get up and walk. It was several days until she was fully responsive.
